Yas Island brought the very first and ONLY immersive cinema experience to the UAE. Following the success of previous editions, we will see du Arena transformed as the ultimate outdoor cinema experience for thousands of visitors to enjoy. A family extravaganza featuring a new blockbuster movie lineup every year, movies will come to life when du Arena transforms for the live immersive experience of the smash-hit musical The Greatest Showman. Yas Movies in the Park not just brings together an outdoor cinema experience but also food trucks serving mouth-watering street food and a huge kids zone.

  • Where does YAS Movies in the Park take place?

YAS Movies in the Park takes place at du Arena, Yas Island. The venue is easily accessible from Abu Dhabi and Dubai and offers over 3,000 FREE parking spaces within a few minutes walk.

  • What are the dates and timings?

Thursday: 17th Oct: 4pm to 12am
Friday: 18th Oct: 4pm to 12am
Saturday: 19th Oct: 4pm to 12am

  • Is the event available to everyone?

Yes, there is no age limit to attend. The event is open to everyone but there will be some National Media Council age ratings on some movies which would need to be abided by. We reserve the right to refuse entry if we hit capacity in the venue.

  • What are the dates and opening timings of Yas Movies in the Park?

The event will be from 4pm – midnight from 17th -19th October 2019.

  • How do I buy tickets?

The event is FREE for all, however a premium viewing experience is also available with a VIP ticket.

  • Where can I purchase a VIP ticket?

Tickets can be purchased on the website. If you have not purchased your ticket you can always come and purchase the tickets at the venue registration desk.

  • How do I get there?

du Arena is located on the Yas Leisure Drive on Yas Island. Over 3,000 free parking spaces are available within a few minutes walk of the venue. Location map.

  • Does everyone accept cash?

Yes, all restaurants, exhibitors, and bars accept cash in AED. Visitors can also pay by card at most stands and restaurants

  • What if the event is affected by adverse weather conditions?

Unless advised by the local authority, the event will proceed regardless of any adverse weather conditions. So rain or shine, YAS Movies in the Park will thrive no matter what!

As this is an outdoor festival, please wear appropriate footwear as weather conditions may vary throughout. Should the weather take a turn for the worse, there are many covered marquee areas at the event.

  • Do I need to pre-register for a movie?

You only need to choose the movies you wish to view when you fill the online registration form and ensure you come early to grab a place! You can bring your own blankets and foldable chairs to sit and enjoy the movies. We reserve the right to refuse entry if we hit capacity in the venue.

  • Do children under 16 require a ticket to attend?

Children under 16 do not need to register however, everyone above the age of 16 are requested to bring their free ticket with them. Please note for VIP tickets every child over the age of 2 requires a ticket.

  • Are there any age limits?

No, but there will be some National Media Council age ratings on some movies which would need to be abided by.

  • Can I bring my own food and/or drink?

No outside food or drinks are permitted into the site premises. A security check is carried out at the arrival gate.

  • Can I leave the event site and come back in?

Yes, just ask security to stamp your hand for re-entry.

  • Are ATM facilities provided onsite?

Yes, there will be a mobile ATM at the venue entrance

  • Is photography allowed at the event?

Yes, you can bring your camera to take photos or make videos at the event. Please note that any photos and videos taken at the event by the organizers can be used to promote future events. Attending this event automatically gives your consent.

  • How far is the parking from the venue?

Free Parking will be available near the venue. Shuttle buses will be provided from the R8 Parking.
